The aim of this project was to convert traditional images into tactile version that would allow our co-creators to engage with images of themselves and thus their sense of self. We achieved this by converting photographs into simple line drawings and then embossing the lines so they could be felt.
Photographs were made into simple line drawings. These lines were then embossed so a visually impaired person could feel photographs.
The embossed line drawings were used on A3 Posters that had the name of our co-creators on it with a small paragraph containing information about their impairment.
The photographs were simplified down to only the outlines so that they could be embossed,
